DESCRIPTION: \n  \n \n\nPLEASE BOOK FOR ONE SESSION ONLY! \n  \nBATS BUGS & BOGIES \n  \nJoin us for a free day of storytelling and activities!!  \nWe are delighted at Northwood House to welcome the fantastic Sue and Holly who will be bringing ‘Bats Bugs and Bogeys’ to life! Sue and Holly are amazing storytellers and creators with bags of experience. They have worked as part of the Isle of Wight Storytelling festival amongst over projects and we are so pleased to have them here. They will be delivering an exciting\, fun and creative experience for your young ones. The best part of this is not only will this be an unforgettable experience but it will also be free\, so reserve soon before all the spaces are gone! \n  \nTHERE WILL BE THREE UNIQUE SESSIONS \n  \nSession 1 (10:30-12.00): Bats \nHear tales of ‘How the bat became’ and why it is that bats come out in the dark in ‘The bat and the basket’ story.  Write bat poems\, make a flying bat and create a colourful chromatography bat to take home. \nSession 2 (12:30-14.00): Bugs \nListen to some bug stories told by storytellers Sue and Holly before going to hunt for bugs on the grounds of Northwood House. How many different critters will you find? We will then make some bug hotels to take home and some tasty bug-shaped sugar treats. \nSession 3 (14.30-16.00): Bogies \nListen to some disgusting and slightly spooky slime and bogey stories\, make and decorate a salt-dough snot monster and create a brand new story all about your snotty creation! \n  \n  \nWhat you need to know? What to expect? \n. The venue will be Northwood House \n. There will be 3 different sessions that run throughout the day each will last 90 minutes. You can only book one of these sessions\, so either Bats Bugs or Bogies whichever one takes your fancy! \n. Session times: 10:30 – 12:00\, 12:30 – 14:00\, 14:30 – 16:00 \n. Book your slot through our website\, It is free to book your slot! But please tell us if you can’t attend as we have limited places and we wouldn’t want anyone to miss out! \nWe kindly ask that only one session per party is booked\, this is so more children can experience these workshops. So pick your favourite! Bats / Bugs or Bogies and join us for one session! \nWhen booking\, make sure to book for everyone who’s attending in your party\, in the additional information please clarify via the tick box whether the ticket is for an adult or a child. \n. There will be a mixture of Storytelling\, literature and practical activities so bare this in mind and dress for a bit of mess! \n. Suitable for 5 – 11 year olds \n. We do ask that parents attend as well (but don’t worry tea\, coffee and other refreshments will be available while the kids have a great time). \n. We are committed to providing a fun and safe environment for children.
