The Comedy Social is back at Northwood House…so grab some friends\, prime your giggle muscles and get ready for our next instalment….and what a line up we have for you! So without further ado we welcome the following belly busters!\n\nHere he is…your Headliner (and its a huge one!)\n  \nErich McElroy \n \nErich McElroy is a Seattle-born\, London-residing comedian\, known for his hilarious and insightful takes on life in the UK right now. Erich has appeared on Scotland’s foremost BBC radio topical show “Breaking the News” as well as providing humorous political commentary on places such as the BBC\, Sky\, Newsnight and on his own podcast American Exchange. \n  \nRyan Murphy \n \nUpcoming talent\, Ryan Murphy’s performance offers a diverse array of entertainment\, featuring a blend of true and absurd anecdotes\, witty one-liners\, insightful observations\, and engaging crowd interactions. \n\n  \nMary Bourke \n \nMary Bourke is an outspoken\, Irish comedian described by GQ magazine as one of the “best female comics in the country”. Born in Dublin during a cross-fire hurricane\, she now lives in leafy Buckinghamshire with a large collection of Betty Page memorabilia. Self-styled ‘housewife comedian’ Mary Bourke may look sweet in her flowery tea-dress\, but her humour pulls no punches. \n\n  \nAndrew White \n \nWith “charisma to burn and an eye for sharp punchlines” (British Comedy Guide)\, Andrew White is an in-demand comedian\, writer and radio host. His last  hit show\, Young\, Gay and Third Thing\, travelled all over the UK picking up critical acclaim\, sell out performances and was award nominated for Best Show at Leicester Comedy Festival 2025. Andrew has also supported Catherine Bohart\, Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Jason Manford on their tours. \n\n\n\n\nDoors 7pm – Comedy from 8pm\nTickets are exclusively available from our ticketing and marketing partner The Price is Wight in advance of the event.\n\n\n\nAll seating is unreserved \nThe seating is arranged in various configurations of sofas/tables and theatre style seating\, these are available on a first come first served basis. We recommend groups of 3 or more people arrive early to get seats together as we cannot guarantee seats together for groups or parties. You may have to seating and tables with other guests\, but that’s how we role at the comedy social!\nAge suitability and restrictions\nThe comedy social  is strictly for 18 year old’s and over only due to the possible adult-themed content of the comedy. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone without valid ID/proof of age whom the staff management deem to appear to be underage.\nComedy content warning\nWe have no control over the content of the comedian’s routines (and what would be the fun of that if we did?) but as with all adult comedy you should expect to hear some rude and offensive language and listen to content with strong adult and controversial themes.  If you are likely to be offended by such content then you should not book\, as no refunds can be given.\nDisclaimer: The material and opinions shared by the comedians are their own and are not representative in any way of  the venue and organisers (Northwood House Charitable Trust Company Ltd).\nPhotography\nWe allow photography during performances  (except in specific circumstances if requested in advance by a comedian)\, but any video or sound recording via a mobile phone or other recording device  is strictly prohibited.\nHeckling/disruption during the event\nWe have a strict policy of no heckling whilst the comedians are performing their routine. This is disruptive to audience members surrounding you and also to the comedians on stage. Remember\, people have paid to listen to the acts\, not to you! Anybody repeatedly talking loudly/heckling/shouting out/acting in a disrespectful manner will be asked to leave immediately without a refund…you have been warned! \n\n
