DESCRIPTION:Its absolutely going to be the party of the week…the time to gather friends and family and join us on the lawns at Northwood House as we come to the climax of Cowes Week 2025. \nIts our Epic Friday Night Party in association with Mermaid Isle of Wight Gin & Victoria Malaga Premium Spanish Lager and its absolutely free to enter before 8pm (Subject to capacity)\, so be sure to get the early as this event is going to pop! Admission fees apply after 8pm- see below. \nWe are delighted to announce that headlining the Epic Friday Night Party will be one of the top rock tribute bands on the UK festival circuit “Women in Rock”\, who’ll be smashing out the rock anthems in a huge set that will have the whole lawns dancing and on their feet. Coming to Cowes Week on their UK tour\, the ladies are ready to take you on a journey through 5 decades of the world’s greatest female rock legends. Featuring soaring vocals\, slick choreography\, striking costumes and backed by a band of world-class musicians\, Women in Rock has built a reputation as one of the most enjoyable and dynamic music shows currently touring the UK festival and theatre circuit. Here’s a little preview: \n \n  \nWe’re also delighted to welcome some true legends from many Cowes Weeks of old…The Accelerators who’ll be here to get the party started from 7.30pm….and it wouldn’t be Cowes Week without a late night finish on the Friday\, with the legendary DJ Omar topping and tailing the night from 6.30pm and finishing at 12am. \n \nAnd then\, just when you thought the party was over…join in the Exclusive Mermaid Late Night Lock-in After Party in the Northwood House Ballroom with a live music from the incredible Hanging Baskets until 1.30am… subject to capacity! Entry is free\, but you can buy a guaranteed entry golden wristband on the night for £9.50. \nThe Hanging Baskets are an incredible covers band\, with a high tempo\, upbeat vibe playing a wide range of party music from Irish folk rock and pop to bluegrass and country…the perfect band for the Lock-In After Party! They’ll have you dancing  and jiving in the ballroom to the end of the night!  Please note the Lock-in After Party has a limited capacity and is for over 18 year old’s only. \nWhat an Epic Friday Night Party this will be!! \nFood will be available all night long from our Lawn Bar caterers The Prickly Pear Taco Truck and So Much Dough Wood-Fired Pizzas\, with our bars open until last orders at 12.00am outside. \nWe can only fit so many people sensibly  on to the lawn space\, so please arrive early if you want to get in. \nThis is a non-ticketed event\, with free entry before 8pm…it is extremely likely that we will reach capacity early\, after-which admission is one person in and one person out. \nBUT PLEASE BE AWARE: Admission after 8pm is £10 per person (£4 per child 5-17)\, so you’ve been forewarned! \nThe Lawn Bar is open all day from 12pm and you can arrive and guarantee any time during the afternoon to avoid disappointment.Go VIP in the All-weather Mermaid Lounge Marquee! \nThe all-weather Mermaid Lounge Marquee with sofa seating is available to book to enhance your evening experience\, with  access to it’s own event bar. It’s the only way to guarantee admission to the event at any time of the evening and have all weather protection. \nSeating packages start with  a minimum  of 4  people\, with bolt-on additional guests permitted only for this event. \nDirect stage viewing is limited from the marquee while seated\, but a reserved viewing area (standing) is available exclusively for Mermaid Lounge Marquee guests. \nTickets are exclusively available from the Price is Wight in advance of the event. \n\n4 person All-weather Mermaid Lounge VIP ticket (sofa seating): only £180.00 (equivalent to only £45 per person): \nIncludes: \n*Admission any time during the evening. \n*Bottle of Prosecco on arrival to share (RRP £25) \n*8 premium bar tokens (2 per person) to be exchanged for any draught pint or medium glass house wine or any optic Spirit & Mixer or additional glass of prosecco (worth up to £54.40 total RRP). \n*Welcome snacks included (Rustic crisps & nibbles).  \n*Relax with all-weather lounge seating and priority bar access included. \n*Golden wristband for admission to the exclusive Mermaid Late Night Lock-in After Party (inside Northwood House) 11.30pm to 01:30am (£9.50@)  \n*Free overnight parking on the event field between 6pm and 9.30am the next day included for VIP ticket holders. \nBolt-on single tickets available only to add to a 4 person VIP ticket at time of booking (to increase size of table): £45.00@ \nIncludes: \n*Glass of Prosecco on arrival  \n*2 premium bar tokens to be exchanged for any draught pint or medium glass house wine or any optic Spirit & Mixer or additional glass of prosecco \n*Extra welcome snacks added to main group order (Rustic crisps & nibbles) \n*All weather lounge seating in the Mermaid Lounge Marquee and priority bar access included. \n*Golden wristband for admission to the exclusive Late Night Lock-in Party (inside Northwood House) 11.30pm to 01:30am ( £9.50@)  \n*Free overnight parking on the event field between 6pm and 9.30am the next day included for VIP ticket holders. \nFor VIP tables\, please note their are no concessions for children and children’s drinks tokens can only be substituted for soft drinks as listed or used by accompanying adults. \nWhat else you need to know: \n\n\nThe event is family friendly\, so children with their parents are welcome to attend…but the venue isn’t a playground and all children must be closely supervised at all times as it will be busy.\nNo under 18’s permitted without a parent or guardian.\nWe operate a a Challenge 25 policy at our bars. Please bring Photo ID with you to prove your age if you look young enough to be asked. A photo driving licence and a passport are the only accepted forms of ID we accept.\nRight of admission is reserved (R.O.A.R) and standard SIA security protocols apply on admission including bag searches and the confiscation of alcohol. Undignified or unruly behaviour will not be tolerated.\nPlease enter and exit by the Rotunda main entrance after 6pm.\nNo pass outs and re-admissions are permitted\, sorry.\nQueuing is likely around 7.30pm- 8pm and if you miss the cut off free entry time you will have to pay admission to gain entry.\nThe venue operates a zero tolerance drugs policy and any such related issues will become a police matter immediately.\nPlease leave the venue quietly to respect our neighbours late at night.\nThis is an outdoor event\, so please dress appropriately for the weather.\nThis is a concert style event\, with space in front of the space to stand\, dance and  enjoy the music. Garden furniture is available on the lawns to the peripheries\, but in a limited quantity.\nSorry no camping chairs are permitted to be brought in to the venue.\nParking is available on the event field from 6pm for £3 (6pm-12am-evening only) or £5 (6pm-9am-evening and overnight)\, but free evening and over night parking is included with VIP table tickets (a list of purchasers will be on the gate).\nThe Lock-in After Party is an exclusive event and has a limited capacity. Over 18 year old’s only.\n\n
