DESCRIPTION:The next Jazz Social will take place on Saturday 10th May 2025 with tickets on sale now! \n \nGreat news music fans…the Northwood House Jazz Social is back on Saturday 10th May 2025 with our ever popular Spring edition. This time our accomplished musicians will be bringing us something all the way from soothing tones to full on toe-tapping grooves. The “Spring Soiree” is sure to give us a musical night to remember! This is the second Jazz Social of 2025\, with the last few events being a sell out\, so be quick get your tickets if you want to come and join the next party of 2025! \nThe Jazz Social – “Spring Soiree” Jim Thorn is curating a night with an amazing Latin Jazz ensemble with the line up as follows: \nLoren Thorn (Vocals) \nTom Ford (Guitar) \nTim Marshall (Bass) \nKen Black (Percussion) \nand of course Jim Thorn himself (Keys) \nThis is definitely a line up with some heavy hitters from the Islands music scene\, and this is one performance not to missed here at Northwood House. \nSo sit and relax with a drink perhaps\, a Spring tipple might go down well here! \nSo bring good friends\, grab a table and enjoy a laid-back sociable evening of great music and great company in equal measure. \nTickets include  \neither a medium glass of house wine (175ml)\,  or a flute of zero alcohol prosecco… \nand of course our famous cheese or pate platter to enjoy during the evening too. \nThe vibe is informal and relaxed and thus quiet\, yet sociable chit-chat is very much encouraged while Jim and friends provide the perfect atmosphere.  The Jazz Social is much about providing a venue to meet up with friends in a relaxed club-style environment\, and perfect for those looking for something original and a little more exclusive. \nThe talented guests joining us for this Jazz Social are as follows! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors open at 7.15pm\, with drinks and cheese in the Drawing Room before live music begins at around 8.00pm.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe iconic and stylish Northwood House “House Bar” with its legendary gin collection will be open all evening… with the chance to try a huge selection of artisan gin and tonics as well a fabulous premium selection of drinks. \nTickets are only £16.50 each with profits going to Northwood House Charitable Trust’s restoration funds. \nEntry by pre-purchased ticket only. \nYour email receipt is your entry ticket\, so be sure to print it off and bring it with you. \nYour ticket includes a standard cheese platter\, but please state any dietary requirements when you book tickets\, so we can provide one of the following alternatives: \nGluten free and a vegan option are available only if booked in advance. \nHouse wine choice: 175ml medium sized serve of our house Shiraz\, Rose or Sav. Blanc. \nFlute of Belle &Co Zero alcohol prosecco or alternative soft drinks available. \nTicket cancellation: \nIf you wish to cancel your admission ticket you can do so via email/phone up to 72 hours in advance of the event with a full refund (therefore by 7.15pm on Weds 7th May 2025). No refunds can be issued after for cancelled tickets after this time for any reason\, but of course you can pass your tickets to other people to use if required\, so long as you inform us along with any additional dietary information  by email at events@northwoodhouse.org by 9am on Thurs 8th May 2025. \n
