DESCRIPTION: \nThe next Jazz Social will take place on Saturday 10th February 2024 with tickets on sale now! \nGreat news music fans…the Northwood House Jazz Social is back on Saturday 10th February 2024 with our ever popular winter edition. This time our accomplished musicians will be bringing us some toe-tapping  “Winter Warmer” which is sure to give us a musical night to remember! \nThis is the first of four Jazz Socials for 2024\, with everyone in 2023 selling out\, be quick get your tickets if you want to come and join the first party of 2024! \n \nThe Jazz Social-“Winter Warmer” is brought to you by the Island’s Jazz supremo Jim Thorn and special guests\, providing the evening with a relaxed musical ambience. \nSo bring good friends\, grab a table and enjoy a laid-back sociable evening of great music and great company in equal measure.  Tickets include either a medium glass of house wine (175ml)\, G&T (single) or a flute of zero alcohol prosecco… and of course our famous cheese or pate platter to enjoy during the evening too. \nThe vibe is informal and relaxed and thus quiet\, yet sociable chit-chat is very much encouraged while Jim and his guests provide the perfect atmosphere.  The Jazz Social is much about providing a venue to meet up with friends in a relaxed club-style environment\, and perfect for those looking for something original and a little more exclusive. \nTalented guests joining us for this Jazz Social are confirmed as: \nLoren Thorn – vocals  \n John Ward – vocals \nJim Thorn – piano \nMike Holdcroft -tenor sax \nJon Thorne – bass  \nKen Black – drums  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors open at 7.15pm\, with drinks and cheese in the Drawing Room before live music begins at around 8.00pm.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe iconic and stylish Northwood House “House Bar” with its legendary gin collection will be open all evening… with the chance to try a huge selection of artisan gin and tonics as well a fabulous premium selection of drinks. \nTickets are only £15.50 each with profits going to Northwood House Charitable Trust’s restoration funds. \nYou can also save a £1 on a further glass of wine or a G&T if you book in advance… helping you make the most of your evening out! \nEntry by pre-purchased ticket only. \nYour email receipt is your entry ticket\, so be sure to print it off and bring it with you. \nYour ticket includes a standard cheese platter\, but please state any dietary requirements when you book tickets\, so we can provide one of the following alternatives: \nGluten free\, lactose free (pate instead of cheese) and a vegan option are available only if booked in advance. \nHouse wine choice: 175ml medium sized serve of our house Shiraz\, Rose or Sav. Blanc.  \nFlute of Belle &Co Zero alcohol prosecco or alternative soft drinks available. \nTicket cancellation: \nIf you wish to cancel your admission ticket you can do so via email/phone up to 72 hours in advance of the event with a full refund (therefore by 7.15pm on Weds 7th Feb 2024). No refunds can be issued after for cancelled tickets after this time for any reason\, but of course you can pass your tickets to other people to use if required\, so long as you inform us along with any additional dietary information  by email at events@northwoodhouse.org by 9am on Thurs 8th Feb 2024. \n
