DESCRIPTION: \n  \nWightAID are delighted to announce that their next event will be held on Friday 13th November from 7pm.\nThe evening will be in support of WightAID as part of their 10th Anniversary and will be hosted at\nthe iconic Northwood House. \nThe menu theme and dress code is…. \n‘The Best of British’ \nWightAID brings together donations from Isle of Wight businesses and individuals\, then\ndistributes the money through grants to local charities and community organisations. \nOver the past 10 years\, they have raised close to £1million and we hope to get them a little bit\ncloser to that magical number. \nAs always\, all the costs for the event will be covered by our incredibly generous sponsors. \nA special in advance shout out goes to Paul Thomas and Isle of Wight Tomatoes. \nAs a result\, every pound raised from ticket sales will be a direct charity donation\, as will all\nproceeds from the evening’s special raffle. \nIn addition\, The Charity Supper Club Team all give their time for free both on the night itself and\nin the run up to the event as well. \nThe aim is simple – to bring together: good people\, decadent food\, fine wine\, free flowing\nconversation and joyful laughter\, whilst fund raising for the worthiest of causes. \n  \nHere’s a little taste of what to expect: \n✓ Canapes include Yorkshire puddings with roast beef.\n✓ The starter involves tartar sauce and mushy peas.\n✓ The main course will be centred around a slow cooked blade of beef.\n✓ Desert includes such words as: sticky\, butterscotch and gold.\n✓ For afters – just think Wallace and Gromit.\n✓ As if that wasn’t enough there will be live music and some 007 inspired hosting! \n  \nIt would be fantastic if you could find time to come and join on what promises to be a\nwonderful evening celebrating our amazing Island\, the inspirational WightAID and of course…. \n‘The Best of British’ \nOnce again\, every pound raised from ticket sales will go directly to support WightAID and in turn\nthe lives of Island people and their communities. \nBuy tickets – Wight aid @Northwood House – Northwood house \n  \n  \n  \n  \n
