Taking place monthly at 12:30 on Wednesdays and each lasting 40 minutes\, they are the ideal addition to your lunch break\, so why not join us in the Ballroom at Northwood House in Cowes!\nYou can also join us for lunch straight after the concert in the Drawing Room\, which you can pre-order when buying your tickets\, or separately if you have already bought your tickets. DESCRIPTION:Event parking during the town’s Cowes Week 2026 Regatta (cars and trade/commercial vehicles)\nAs well as the main pay and display car park in Park Road\, competitors and visitors to the town during the Cowes Week regatta can park in the designated event car park which is located in Northwood Park\, located half way along Ward Avenue. \nThe event car park is open and staffed between 9am and 7pm daily from Saturday 1st August to Sunday 9th August inclusively for both cars and commercial vehicles. \nPlease park in our main Park Road Car park if you need to park before or after the event car park opening times and use the machines provided. Equally if you require a shorter stay period\, then use the Park Road Car park where tariffs are available by the hour\, but expect it to be busy and up to capacity after 11am. \nField parking costs £8.00 from 8.30am or £5.00 after 2pm for the remainder of the day. These day passes can only be purchased upon entry to the event car park. \nThe field will be patrolled and PCN noticed can be issued for those who have not paid and displayed the correct parking tickets. \nA 9 day car pass for the grass parking especially for competitors (1st August – 9th August inclusive) is available for £65.00 from the car park team on the field or CLICK HERE TO BUY IN ADVANCE. \nGrass parking is also available for commercial vans (up to 7m in length) at £16.00 for the whole day\, or £10.00 from 2.00pm. DESCRIPTION:Northwood House is delighted to be opening its Tea Garden in time for the town’s special Cowes Week Bicentenary celebrations this year. \n \nThe Tea Garden will operate as usual on the sunny St Mary’s lawn every day from 11.30am to 5pm during this popular week between Saturday 1st and Saturday 8th August inclusively\, when many visitors coming to Cowes to enjoy the warm hospitality and great atmosphere on offer. \nWe will be offering our usual mix of locally and home-made cakes\, hot drinks\, sandwiches and cream teas with delicious fresh-baked scones… simple yet delicious treats for everyone to enjoy in traditional British style! \n \nThis year we are partnering with Tinwood Estate English Sparkling Wine from Sussex and offering special sparkling upgrades to all cream teas so visitors can enjoy the ultimate afternoon experience with a flute of premium quality sparking wine. \n \nOur Tea Garden will once again we run by our award-winning team of charity volunteers throughout the week with all profits made going towards the Charity’s house restoration funds. \nWe are also offering a vintage afternoon tea experience in the Ballroom on one afternoon for those seeking something even more blissful: Click here for more information \nDon’t for get that during inclement weather\, visitors can take tea in the adjacent House Drawing Room\, so it’s a good place to visit whatever the weather is throwing at us! \nJoin us for a free brass band concert! \nOn Saturday 1st August there will be a free concert by the Wight Diamonds Marching Band at 2pm on the Tea Garden Lawn\, so arrive early to get a seat. \nWe have lots of outdoor seating\, but if you wish to make a reservation please call 01983 293642 on week day office hours in advance or email adminisistrator@northwoodhouse.org \nWe will of course reserve the right to amend opening times if the weather is very inclement and may not open at all on extremely wet afternoons\, so please keep an eye on our main Facebook page feed for the latest opening information and updates. \nParking on the event field \nIf you are visiting in the afternoon\, don’t forget we open our Ward Avenue event field for parking during the whole week. If the weather is nice\, you can relax outside in the sunshine on St Mary’s Lawn too. \n \nTea\, Coffee and cakes will be served by our award winning volunteer catering team\, with all funds raised going to support our work to look after Northwood Park which benefits the whole Cowes community\, thank you. \nEveryone is welcome\, so if you love Northwood House and Park\, just drop in and see us! His last  hit show\, Young\, Gay and Third Thing\, travelled all over the UK picking up critical acclaim\, sell out performances and was award nominated for Best Show at Leicester Comedy Festival 2025.
