The Ballroom
The Northwood House Ballroom is undoubtedly one of the best meeting and function spaces on the Isle of Wight. Recently refurbished, the Ballroom offers a completely flexible space for theatre or cabaret-style layouts. The Ballroom seats 120 theatre style, and 200+ standing
The Dining Room
This ornate room with its original 1840’s decor offers convenient additional space for all events. It adjoins the Ballroom and both rooms can be used together by the removal of a dividing shutter. It is often used for entertainment space at weddings where discos and bands can set up for later in the evening.
We are happy to advise on potential layouts for any of our rooms, with options for staging, sound and lighting to meet your event requirements. We also have lots of in-house equipment available to hire if required. The Drawing Room
If you’re looking for a wow factor for your event, look no further than the Northwood House Drawing Room. Another recently refurbished room, its lavishly decorated ceiling is something to behold and is one of the most admired rooms available for public or private hire on the whole Isle of Wight.
The Drawing Room is a self contained room, ideal for smaller meetings, training sessions or breakouts from your conference event. Undoubtedly though it is absolutely perfect for wedding ceremonies and is definitely one of the top spaces on the Island to tie the knot, host a drinks reception, or have a very intimate wedding reception or family celebration. With access on to the sunny south facing St Mary’s lawn, there are not many more places that are more perfect for such a wide range of events.
We also host many wakes and end of life celebrations in this room which makes a particularly good space to help lift the spirits. The Morning Room
A private room for board meetings and group sessions, breakouts or as a support office to a larger event. The Morning room connects to the Drawing Room and has a boardroom layout.
The Morning Room seats 10 boardroom style and 20+ standing
The Library
A unique octagonal room suitable for meetings of up to 40, or for breakout sessions, or speakers greenroom.
The Library seats 40 theatre style and 60+ standing
The Rotunda
The grand entrance hall to Northwood House provides and ideal space for conference registration, exhibitions and drinks receptions.
The rotunda can seat 50, or 75+ standing
Marquee and Lawn Options
Meeting and Hospitality space can be extended by adding Marquees on the East, and North Lawns with links to the house.
Please talk to us about your requirements and the options that can be provided. We have our own premium fame marquee which can hired for outdoor events which can sit up to 150 people. This be used in conjunction with our summer Lawn Bar space if required, creating a huge outside licenced venue that can be hired for a corporate or private events including weddings.
