From the grand rotunda entrance, with its domed roof, to the spacious main Ballroom, Northwood House makes a great venue choice for everything from a lavish banquet for 150 seated guests, to an intimate gathering for just close friends and family. Importantly though, the venue offers a friendly and accommodating approach to all couples with a dedicated team of staff who can assist with every detail with planning a bespoke wedding.
Flexibile and elegant venue
Set in picturesque Northwood Park, just off Ward Avenue, the venue has six glorious reception rooms of various sizes and beautiful lawns, perfect for photographs and socialising during your wedding day.
The lawns also are available to hire for marquee weddings, with structures supplied by the venues in-house event team making for a simple one stop solution for couples seeking the luxury of an outside celebration but without all the hassle.
As a result Northwood House is great for couples who want the freedom to create a very personal celebration for their friends and family. Because our rooms can be hired individually or in combination, you can plan a unique day for your guests. Our licenced caterers offer a wide range of options and budgets.

A historic place for the community
Northwood House has been run as a Charitable Trust since 2010 for the benefit of the people of the Isle of Wight. All profits from events help maintain the House and surrounding parkland for generations of Islanders and visitors to enjoy.
