Cowes Week 2025: The Highlights at Northwood House

Cowes Week at Northwood House: Huge nights out and relaxing days!
Now firmly at the heart of regatta socialising, Northwood House and Park is sure to be high on the list of must-visit destinations this Cowes Week for both regatta competitors and visitors alike. The venue has grown considerably in stature over the last few years, with the ever-popular Lawn Bar now offering some of the best entertainment and experiences in the town across the week.
The Lawn Bar opens daily from 12pm until late every day and is just a couple of minutes’ walk up from the busy promenade. With its relaxed vibe, it’s the perfect place to meet up with friends and family to enjoy the premium drinks and food on offer in the heart of beautiful Northwood Park. A mixture of outdoor seating and indoor lounging is available, so it caters well for visitors in all weathers.
There’s some fantastic live music from the Garden Stage throughout the week, including a number of bigger concert events starting with legendary and former Radio 1 dance DJ Dave Pearce playing the opening night party on 2nd August with a huge night of dance anthems, plus the not-to-miss after party “Club Elements” inside Northwood House until 1.30am. Abba fans can enjoy a massive free tea-time party at the venues “Cowes Week Super Sunday” with a sing-along concert at 4.30pm with top tribute act Mumma Mia, with local favourites The Dance Preachers playing afterwards at 7.30pm. It’s sure to be a packed-out afternoon on the lawns with a great atmosphere…and very family friendly. More info here.
Monday night sees the iconic funksters The Soul Lounge take the stage (More info here) followed on Tuesday night by the incredible Arctic Junkies tribute supported by Mufti Day, with free entry before 9pm. This will be a night of titanic tunes from the nineties and noughties, so if you love the Arctic Monkeys vibe, come and dance! More info here.
But make sure you save some energy for the rest of the week, starting with the Awesome Mermaid Gin Pink Party on Wednesday, with the top UK tribute act to the artist Pink “Beautiful Trauma” playing live on stage supported by Small Town Boy (tribute to the Communards). Enjoy mariachi mayhem on the following night at the Musto Mad Thursday Fiesta with the crazy antics of Vote Pedro supported by Fellowship of Groove (tickets £9.50 with a drink on arrival) Tickets click here.
This follows on from a free special afternoon concert at 3pm by the His Majesty’s Band of the Royal Marines (Collingwood) bringing a rousing performance of all the concert classics to the main stage.
And be sure you’re there for the Epic Friday night party on 8th August, with the amazing Woman In Rock stopping by on their UK tour, supported by Cowes Week legends, the Accelerators. A night of dance-along rock anthems and party favourites will make this the not to-be-missed party of the week! Entry is free before 7.30pm (£10 after) but is subject to capacity, so get there early to avoid disappointment. The event is generously sponsored by Mermaid Gin & Victoria Malaga. Local legends Jimmy’s Big Fish supported by talented duo Masie & Ralph close the week on the final Saturday completing an absolutely incredible party week at the venue…definitely one of the main places to be all through Cowes Week 2025!

Looking for something to eat? Delicious food is available at the Lawn Bar all week from the Prickly Pear Taco Truck serving authentic Mexican street food and also from So Much Dough Wood Fired Pizza. Other guest caterers will be making an appearance across the week, so come and enjoy some great food as well as a premium offer of drinks.
Visitors can enjoy an afternoon tea, light lunches and fresh cakes in the Cowes Week Tea Garden on the Northwood House St Mary’s Lawn. The Tea Garden is open 11.30am to 5pm each day and makes a popular escape for people looking for something relaxing to do with friends and family.
A delightful “Bliss in the Ballroom” Vintage Afternoon Tea Experience is available on Tuesday 5th August in the house Ballroom, with a sitting at 1pm and 3.30pm, with tea accompanied by Jim Thorn on the grand piano.
