The Hollywood musical feels like it’s been with us forever. Starting with the Jazz Singer in 1927, almost 100 years later audiences are still flocking to the box-office to watch the big screen come alive with singing, dancing, comedy and romance.
Liza Pulman and Joe Stilgoe’s combined love and exhaustive movie knowledge is on technicolour display here as they bring some of these great movie-musical songs to life on the stage. No big screen, only big talents, great harmonies and lots of music and laughter. So, bring your popcorn as they bring you the magic of the movie musicals.

The festival reaches its climax in a rousing celebration of British music and flag-waving, including Pomp & Circumstance, Jerusalem and many more, with this year being extra special; tying in with Cowes Week’s 200th anniversary celebrations.
Starring G4’s MIKE CHRISTIE and the WIGHT PROMS CONCERT ORCHESTRA, conducted by the Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra’s JONATHAN BUTCHER.
Featuring the orchestral première of ‘The Voice of Nature’ which festival founder Mike Christie wrote to honour Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday this year, as well as the official song for Walk the Wight he wrote, ‘Walk the Wight With You’.
