Wight Proms Lawn Bar Takeover: Last Wight of the Bicentenary Proms with Mike Christie

The Wight Proms Takeover series reaches its climax in a rousing celebration of British music and flag-waving, including Pomp & Circumstance, Jerusalem and many more, with this year being extra special; tying in with Cowes Week’s 200th anniversary celebrations.

​Starring G4’s MIKE CHRISTIE and the WIGHT PROMS CONCERT ORCHESTRA, conducted by the Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra’s JONATHAN BUTCHER.

​Featuring the orchestral première of ‘The Voice of Nature’ which festival founder Mike Christie wrote to honour Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday this year, as well as the official song for Walk the Wight he wrote, ‘Walk the Wight With You’.
