Cowes 200 ‘Bliss in the Ballroom’ Vintage Afternoon Tea

There will definitely be “Bliss in the Ballroom” in the historic week when the town celebrates 200 years of it’s famous sailing regatta, especially if you like tea and cake!

Northwood House, set in beautiful Northwood Park in Cowes, is the perfect destination during the town’s historic sailing regatta for meeting up with friends and family for a special treat. And with Cowes Week celebrating it’s 200 year anniversary this year, its an extra special reason to be making a special occasion of it!
Following fabulous feedback received every year, the venue is once again offering an exclusive vintage afternoon tea experience during the regatta week, served to perfection by their award-winning team in the refurbished Ballroom.
The tea includes a delicious selection of fresh homemade sandwiches, cakes, scones and hot drinks, as well as a glass of premium Tinwood Estate English sparking wine or alcohol-free fizz on arrival to get you in the mood for socialising
Your afternoon tea will be accompanied by talented local pianist playing on the Ballroom grand piano to create a perfect relaxing atmosphere for your group.
We have a choice of two sittings times available at 1.00pm or 3.30pm on Tuesday 4th August 2026

Please note:
Car parking on the Ward Avenue Cowes Week Field car park is recommended and can be purchased for £3.50 when ordering an Afternoon Tea. Car parking is valid for anytime from 12.30pm-7.00pm
All profits made from the Vintage Afternoon Tea go to Northwood House Charitable Trust for ongoing repairs, maintenance and restoration project work, so its a great way to support the Charity.
