The Alternative Fun Burns Night Supper & Quiz!
27th January £20.00
Update: Bookings have now closed for this event.
Our “Alternative Fun Burns Night Supper and Quiz” will certainly help you chase away the January blues!!
Join us for a different take on a Burns Night celebration where you can enjoy a delicious two course Scottish themed supper and fun general knowledge quiz on Friday, 27th January 2023, with a complimentary shot of whisky or glass of prosecco on arrival to get the night off to the best start!
This popular annual event is back after a Covid- enforced break, so be sure to book soon to avoid disappointment. This isn’t a stuffy, formal dinner like many others around the Island, but a relaxed alternative where you can have fun and relax with friends, whilst enjoying some great Scottish themed food and having your brains tested with a range of trivia which will have several Scottish themed rounds… all set in grand confines of the Northwood House Ballroom! Unfortunately we wont be stabbing and addressing any Haggis this year, due to complaints from animal welfare campaigners!
Everyone from across our Island will be warmly welcomed, any age groups and general knowledge ability are catered for… it’s a fun event after all! With a maximum team size of 8 it’s certainly a great chance to have a fun night out to look forward to at the end of the long dull month of January!
Fancy or traditional Scottish attire most certainly welcome, with a prize for the best Scottish themed attire-whether traditional or fun!
Please book for everyone in your group where possible so we know who wants to sit with who. You can book individually and join another group, but you must state the name of the lead person of that group on the drop down ticketing menu.
Those booking in 1, 2, 3 or 4 person tickets only at a time will share a table with other small teams of similar numbers, whereas those booking 5- 8 tickets at a time will have their own table for the supper and quiz.
A selection of prizes for top 3 teams, with a wooden spoon for the losers!
The iconic Northwood House bar open will be open all evening from 7:00 pm, so arrive early and relax in style.
The great news is that all proceeds go to Northwood House Charitable Trust to help on-going restoration work and community projects.
Supper and quiz starts from 7:30 pm with a 10.45 pm finish.
