Cowes Week Opening Party: Epic Dance Anthems with Dave Pearce
2nd August
Cowes Week party people…are you ready for this??
If you love the dance anthems from the 1990’s and 2000’s, then our amazing opening party event is going to have you buzzing!
Cowes Week opening night is traditionally one of the best nights of the whole week, and this year at the Lawn Bar, we’re making up for the poor offerings at other venues by bringing one of the UK’s biggest dance anthem DJs to headline the party! So grab your bucket hats and your smiley t-shirts from the wardrobe and come on down!
The legend that is DJ Dave Pearce will be here and will have you raving and misbehaving on the lawns as he plays an epic headline set of the best dance and club anthems from that incredible era.
Dave has been a driving force in the UK Dance Scene for many years and is known throughout the country for his uplifting, energetic “Big Room Anthemic Trance and Dance Anthems” sets, which feature many of the classics he helped break through his legendary Dance Anthems Radio 1 show and his Ibiza residencies.
Known by many as the “King of UK Trance Anthems”, Dave has sold over 1 million compilation CDs, achieving Gold Sales on albums for Ministry Of Sound, Universal and BMG, including ‘Transcendental Euphoria’, ‘Dave Pearce Dance Anthems’ and ‘Dave Pearce Trance Anthems’. Still at the top of his game, April 2024 saw Dave marking 6 years in the Top Ten Official UK Dance Album charts with his Number 1 Trance Anthems album making it the longest selling Dance album in the Top Ten ever.
2024 saw Dave headline shows in Ibiza legendary super-clubs “Amnesia” and “Eden” as well as countless main stage performances at UK Festivals and UK Club appearances. He also supported The Pet Shop Boys on their 2024 UK Arena Tour. So what an honour to have him here in Cowes to get the week off to a banger! If you love dance music, this is a not-to-be-missed ticketed Cowes Week party event!
Supporting our main act will be the Island’s own dance anthems supremo DJ Omar who’ll be warming up the decks for Dave between 8pm and 9.30pm. Omar will be joined by another old-skool legend, DJ Ian Hobbs, who’s mellow organic house music vibe will start to set the mood for what’s to come later and then close the night out after Dave has delivered the dance and trance bombs between 9.30pm and 11pm!
