The 2026 Isle of Wight Spring Art & Garden Fair

3rd - 4th April £4.00 - £13.60

Great news for all fans of great art and gardening! Early Bird tickets are now available for the 2026 show with 20% off before 1st Feb 2026!

The 2026 Isle of Wight Spring Art & Garden Fair  will be back at Northwood House & Park in its normal Easter time slot, taking place this year on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th April (Good Friday and Easter Saturday) and will be open for visitors between 10am and 5pm daily.

This enormously popular event is always a highlight of the Isle of Wight’s Easter events calendar and the first major outdoor event of the year, attracting many thousands of visitors over the two days. And with low ticket prices and free entry for all children 16..its not going to break the bank to come along and enjoy the spring sunshine (hopefully!) and the incredible array of exhibitors packed in to the house, lawns  and parkland.

Following the introduction of the new Roots & Shoots Plants Talk Tent in 2025 with a range of fantastic speakers that gardening and plant enthusiasts loved, the tent will be returning in 2026 with an even bigger programme of free talks to enjoy. Check back here soon to see who we’ve got booked in for your listening pleasure, but its certainly a new highlight of the Fair for many visitors! It’s going to be a busy tent and so we’ve added some VIP options for those who want to reserve a seat for a specific speaker which include a glass of wine or a hot drink and biscuits!

The Isle of Wight Spring Art & Garden Fair always brings together a fantastic collection of different exhibitors of all types, including garden and plant nurseries from the Island and mainland who will be taking space on the lawns of our historic venue, as well as a fantastic Island artist showcase inside the elegant rooms of the main house itself. Its a diverse and eclectic event which visitors love.

It’s great for gardening folk…with plants, shrubs, tools, ironmongery, landscaping products and other outdoor leisure products all on display over the two-day event.  Guest mainland exhibitors who normally exhibit at the large RHS mainland shows will be attendance selling the highest quality plant stock. Plus there’s a huge range of  other stands to see from artisan craft to local produce…all helping to make the perfect atmosphere that visitors love.

The Fair has grown into the Island’s most important public exhibition event for Island artists. You’ll see some incredible work on display in the Island Art Showcase inside Northwood House from some of the most talented and creative artists in their field, whether its in painting, photography and even sculpture.  There will be a live painting demonstration complete with some human models as subject matter running through the weekend, where visitors can have a go at sketching and painting with tuition from experienced Island artists in situ.

There’s always good vibes…The popular Northwood House Lawn Bar will be open over the weekend serving the first Pimm’s of the season. You can catch some relaxing live music with our popular Spring Fair resident duos JC & Angelina and Mike & Amy Joliffee. So kick back, grab a glass of pinot and settle in for the afternoon.

Plus  there’s the famous Spring Fair Tea Tent managed by the award-winning Northwood House Volunteers, serving fresh sandwiches, cakes and afternoon cream teas for everyone to enjoy. There will also be a range of tasty food from the food court on offer through out the weekend.

It’s Easter weekend and that wont go with out notice as we will have a free Easter Egg Trail for the kids around the event, where everyone will get a prize for taking part. The event is always great fun for families…with kids under 16 coming in free. There’s also fun to be had in the Kid’s Creation Station with more free art and craft activities for the younger ones, plus story telling and some seed planting thrown in for good measure. And if you love dogs…watch the team from ‘BARKING MAD’ who’ll be demonstrating dog agility, fly-ball and obedience training. You can even bring your own dog and have a go yourself!

Lovers of old vehicles will love the special annual display by the Isle of Wight Vintage Tractor Club who’ll be showing off some of their prized old tractors and engines from yesteryear, always a fabulous part of the Fair. Several of the Island’s best historic car clubs will be exhibiting too…along with some vehicles from the other end of the spectrum in our Electric Avenue, showcasing an array of EV’s from local and regional dealerships.

The Spring Fair is sure to draw large crowds of visitors from across the Island over the new weekend date with craft and local food producers also in attendance, as well as a range of other quality Island businesses and organisations.

The great news is that entry fee is the lowest on the Island for a large outdoor event, so its wont break the bank to come. What’s more,  all proceeds go to Northwood House Charitable Trust to help with the  ongoing restoration work and maintenance of Northwood House and Park for everyone to enjoy…so thank you for supporting this great local charity.

Single day tickets and discounted two day tickets can be purchased in advance below with the following tariff applicable for 2026, with 20% off for Early bird purchases before 1st Feb 2026 on admission tickets:

Please note that even though talks in the Roots & Shoots Plant Talk Tent are free to enter for show visitors, we can not and do not guarantee admission if the tent is full and oversubscribed with people attending. We apologise in advance for any disappointment this may cause.

The only way to guarantee a seat for a particular headline speaker is to book a VIP TALK TENT TICKET which includes either a medium glass of house wine or a hot drink with biscuits. Seating at the front of the tent will be reserved for you and you’ll be hosted by our friendly “Meet & Greet” stewards who will seat you and get your drinks.

Please note that an admission ticket is still required for general Spring Fair entry with the VIP Talk Tent Ticket an additional purchase for the speaker of your choice.

VIP Tickets will be available to purchase when the programme of speakers is released.

All proceeds from admission fees and parking will go directly to Northwood House Charitable Trust funds to assist with the ongoing up keep of Northwood House and Park on behalf of the local community, thank you.
