Cowes Tennis Sunday: Adult Social Tennis Afternoon

If you love playing tennis on the Northwood Park Aitken Courts, or would like to come and meet some new like-minded players from the community for a fun game, then this is the perfect opportunity for a get together!

You are warmly invited to come along to the the Adult Social Tennis Afternoon which takes place on Sunday  14th September from 1pm to 3pm. Of course the afternoon may go on longer and everyone is welcome to stay longer to enjoy more games. Lots of people who love playing tennis for fun will be there….so come along and meet some fellow enthusiasts! The afternoon is for players 16 years old and above (there are children’s sessions in the morning).

The afternoon will finish off with a Tennis Court BBQ fundraising event from 5pm to help raise money for the courts maintenance funds. This will be organised this year by  lead tennis fundraiser Maria Moore who is generously opening her house and garden at nearby 16 Castle Road for the event, with tickets and more information on the following web page: CLICK HERE

The event is organised by Cowes Community Tennis Group- a social group of players who meet regularly on the courts for friendly matches across the whole year.

At least three of the courts are given over to the event with the permission of Northwood House Charitable Trust, the custodians of the courts.

Donations towards the upkeep of the courts are always welcome. Please use the Paypal QR codes around the courts for online donations or by putting a few spare pounds in to the courts donation box next to the entry gate, thank you.
