Cowes Week Tuesday: Lazerheart’s Totally Awesome 80’s Party

If you love music from the 1980’s then this night at the Lawn Bar is for you!

We bring you the Lazerheart’s Totally Awesome 80’s Party, a chance to wind back the clock and enjoy tunes from everyone’s favourite decade played by the Island’s top 80’s cover band .

The Lazerhearts will be joined by mysterious DJ “The Rubix Dude” (who’s identity is as closely guarded as Banksy’s!). He’ll be playing classic anthems from the 80’s from 7.30pm to warm you up for the band…and again afterwards so you can continue to party until 12am with your best air guitar impressions(Guns and Roses are sure to be featured!).

Dressing up from the Totally Awesome 80’s Party is certainly encouraged with spot prizes for the best 80’s themed fancy dress…so make an effort if you can! Whether its a favourite film, TV or pop star from the era or some iconic fashion from the decade…its up to you…we dare you to wear a lycra leotard and sweatbands!

Admission is totally free before 10pm, but £6 afterwards, so arrive early and grab a drink from the bar to get the party started.

The Lawn Bar is open all day from 12pm, with the 80’s party starting from 7.30pm.

Great food is available from the Lawn Bar caterers “The Garden” from Cowes including amazing pizza made fresh to order.
