Cowes Week Wednesday: Ultra 90’s vs 2000’s Experience-Live on the Lawn
31st July - 1st August £3.00 - £5.00
Cowes Week party people…are you ready for this??
If you love the dance anthems from the 1990’s and 2000’s, then this amazing mid week party event is going to have you buzzing!
Wednesday night is traditionally one of the best nights of Cowes Week and this year at the Lawn Bar we’re making up for the poor offerings at the other venues by bringing one of the UK’s top touring dance anthem tribute acts to play here live on the lawns! So grab your bucket hats and and your smiley t-shirts from the wardrobe and come on down!
The Ultra 90’s vs 2000’s Experience will be raving and misbehaving as they perform the best classic chart, dance and club anthems from the 1990 & 2000s.
From Snap to 2 Unlimited via N.Trance, Faithless, Robin S, Rozalla, Ultra Nate, Black Box, Strike, Ce Ce Peniston, House of Pain, Gala to The Shamen and Vanilla Ice with many other classics from the era all thrown in! It’s a high energy show creating such a vibrant, buzzing atmosphere that you just have to get up and dance.
This is not a dj set but a full live band experience, never to have played on the Isle of Wight before! Rhythm will definitely be a dancer at this not-to-be-missed ticketed Cowes Week party event!
Supporting the main act will be the Island’s coolest new “noughties” covers band, Mufti Day, bringing you even more party bangers from across the era to get you warmed up for dance extravaganza to follow. And its not all over when Ultra 90’s take a bow from the stage…oh no. DJ Omar and his Dance Anthems After Party will take you all the way to 12.30am to round off what is sure to be a memorable night here at the Lawn Bar!
This is a fully licenced ticketed event with all event bars on the lawn open from 7pm for the duration of the evening. Great food on site will be provided by the catering team from “The Garden” Restaurant (Cowes), including the chance to book a VIP dining experience in advance of the main concert in their pop-up restaurant , as well as providing a great selection of hot food from the event trailer.
This is an outdoor concert, with only limited garden furniture seating available on a first come first served basis situated on the peripheries of the main standing area. However sitting down will be the last thing on your mind at this event…its all about the dancing!
