PLEASE BOOK FOR ONE SESSION ONLY!

BATS BUGS & BOGIES

Join us for a free day of storytelling and activities!!

We are delighted at Northwood House to welcome the fantastic Sue and Holly who will be bringing ‘Bats Bugs and Bogeys’ to life! Sue and Holly are amazing storytellers and creators with bags of experience. They have worked as part of the Isle of Wight Storytelling festival amongst over projects and we are so pleased to have them here. They will be delivering an exciting, fun and creative experience for your young ones. The best part of this is not only will this be an unforgettable experience but it will also be free, so reserve soon before all the spaces are gone!

THERE WILL BE THREE UNIQUE SESSIONS

Session 1 (10:30-12.00): Bats

Hear tales of ‘How the bat became’ and why it is that bats come out in the dark in ‘The bat and the basket’ story.  Write bat poems, make a flying bat and create a colourful chromatography bat to take home.

Session 2 (12:30-14.00): Bugs

Listen to some bug stories told by storytellers Sue and Holly before going to hunt for bugs on the grounds of Northwood House. How many different critters will you find? We will then make some bug hotels to take home and some tasty bug-shaped sugar treats.

Session 3 (14.30-16.00): Bogies

Listen to some disgusting and slightly spooky slime and bogey stories, make and decorate a salt-dough snot monster and create a brand new story all about your snotty creation!
