Fun Quiz Night (February 2022)

Weather and event update at 11.30am on 18th Feb 2022:

The winds are forecast to subside later this afternoon and we therefore hope to run the quiz as planned, but will make a final decision at 4.30pm and post here if we decide to postpone to another date. Fingers crossed we can go ahead as the chili is made and taste’s good!

Gather some friends (preferably with some brain cells!) and join us for our first Fun Quiz Night on Friday since early 2020!

It’s a great opportunity to get together for an informal night out, enjoying the splendour of Northwood House while testing your grey matter with  a topical ten-round general knowledge quiz presented by our in -house trivia masters Darren & Matt.

Enter a team of up to 6 people for a lovely evening out! The House Bar will be open for early drinks from 7pm and through out the evening too.

A delicious buffet-style supper is included in the ticket price, with home made chilli and rice on the menu. There’s a scrummy plant based option for vegetarian and vegan diets too. Please state on the ticket drop-down menu your choice.

Not only are we providing the food, but we have a drink included in the ticket price for you to make the complete package… choose from a medium glass of house wine (175ml) or a pint of Camden Brewery’s finest Hell’s Larger or Pale Ale. Its the perfect way to get the night going…and at special low price to celebrate us getting back together in 2022!

Entry and House bar open from 7:00pm, with quiz starting at 7.30pm and supper served from 8.15pm.

Marking and prizes from 10pm with the evening  finished by approx 10.30pm.

Tickets are £12 each online, but Northwood House Members can order tickets directly from the office for only £10.00 each by calling 293642 during office hours. We cannot offer the members discount online.

New teams are always very welcome, young, old or mixed…come and join in the fun! 

Persons seen using using a mobile phone to search for answers will be disqualified from the quiz, so be warned! 

Covid safety:

In the interest of ongoing safety, please do not attend if:

• You have Covid or Covid symptoms.
• You feel unwell.
• You are self isolating for any reason

You should sanitise your hands on arrival and through the evening if you use the bar and WC.

You should wear a face covering if it makes you feel more comfortable, although this is not a requirement.

Cancellation:

No refunds are payable for any reason  if you cancel your booking after 3pm on Wednesday 17th February 2022 when catering orders will have been placed.

Cancellation can only be done by email to administrator@northwoodhouse.org by the time and date above, which will be processed with in 5 working days.
