The Epic Friday Night Party plus Late Night Lock-in event! (in association with Mermaid & Victoria Malaga)

Its absolutely going to be the party of the week…the time to gather friends and family and join us on the lawns at Northwood House as we come to the climax of Cowes Week 2025.

Its our Epic Friday Night Party in association with Mermaid Isle of Wight Gin & Victoria Malaga Premium Spanish Lager and its absolutely free to enter before 8pm (Subject to capacity), so be sure to get the early as this event is going to pop!

We are delighted to announce that headlining the Epic Friday Night Party will be one of the top rock tribute bands on the UK festival circuit “Woman in Rock”, who’ll be smashing out the rock anthems in a huge set that will have the whole lawns dancing and on their feet. Coming to Cowes Week on their UK tour, the ladies are ready to take you on a journey through 5 decades of the world’s greatest female rock legends. Featuring soaring vocals, slick choreography, striking costumes and backed by a band of world-class musicians, Women in Rock has built a reputation as one of the most enjoyable and dynamic music shows currently touring the UK festival and theatre circuit. We’re also delighted to welcome some true legends from many Cowes Weeks of old…The Accelerators who’ll be here to get the party started from 7.30pm….and it wouldn’t be Cowes Week without a late night finish on the Friday, with the legendary DJ Omar topping and tailing the night from 6.30pm and finishing at 12am.

And then, just when you thought the party was over…join in the Exclusive Mermaid Late Night Lock-in After Party in the Northwood House Ballroom with a live music from the incredible Hanging Baskets until 1.30am…with admission by special Golden Wristband only (£9.50) available in advance or on the night subject to capacity! The Hanging Baskets are an incredible covers band, with a high tempo, upbeat vibe playing a wide range of party music from Irish folk rock and pop to bluegrass and country…the perfect band for the Lock-In After Party! They’ll have you dancing  and jiving in the ballroom to the end of the night!  Don’t miss your chance to be part of this exclusive event with tickets only via The Price is Wight. Please note the Lock-in After Party has a limited capacity and is for over 18 year old’s only.

Food will be available all night long from our Lawn Bar caterers The Prickly Pear Taco Truck and So Much Dough Wood-Fired Pizzas, with our bars open until last orders at 12.00am outside.

We can only fit so many people sensibly  on to the lawn space, so please arrive early if you want to get in.

This is a non-ticketed event, with free entry before 8pm…it is extremely likely that we will reach capacity early, after-which admission is one person in and one person out.

BUT PLEASE BE AWARE: Admission after 8pm is £10 per person (£4 per child 5-17), so you’ve been forewarned!

The Lawn Bar is open all day from 12pm and you can arrive and guarantee any time during the afternoon to avoid disappointment.

 

Go VIP in the All-weather Mermaid Lounge Marquee!

The all-weather Mermaid Lounge Marquee with sofa seating is available to book to enhance your evening experience, with  access to it’s own event bar. It’s the only way to guarantee admission to the event at any time of the evening and have all weather protection.

Seating packages start with  a minimum  of 4  people, with bolt-on additional guests permitted only for this event.

Direct stage viewing is limited from the marquee while seated, but a reserved viewing area (standing) is available exclusively for Mermaid Lounge Marquee guests.

Tickets are exclusively available from the Price is Wight in advance of the event.

What else you need to know:

1. The event is family friendly, so children with their parents are welcome to attend…but the venue isn’t a playground and all children must be closely supervised at all times as it will be busy.
2. No under 18’s permitted without a parent or guardian.
3. We operate a a Challenge 25 policy at our bars. Please bring Photo ID with you to prove your age if you look young enough to be asked. A photo driving licence and a passport are the only accepted forms of ID we accept.
4. Right of admission is reserved (R.O.A.R) and standard SIA security protocols apply on admission including bag searches and the confiscation of alcohol. Undignified or unruly behaviour will not be tolerated.
5. Please enter and exit by the Rotunda main entrance after 6pm.
6. No pass outs and re-admissions are permitted, sorry.
7. Queuing is likely around 7.30pm- 8pm and if you miss the cut off free entry time you will have to pay admission to gain entry.
8. The venue operates a zero tolerance drugs policy and any such related issues will become a police matter immediately.
9. Please leave the venue quietly to respect our neighbours late at night.
10. This is an outdoor event, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
11. This is a concert style event, with space in front of the space to stand, dance and  enjoy the music. Garden furniture is available on the lawns to the peripheries, but in a limited quantity.
12. Sorry no camping chairs are permitted to be brought in to the venue.
13. Parking is available on the event field from 6pm for £3 (6pm-12am-evening only) or £5 (6pm-9am-evening and overnight), but free evening and over night parking is included with VIP table tickets (a list of purchasers will be on the gate).
14. The Lock-in After Party is an exclusive event and has a limited capacity. Over 18 year old’s only.
